The Super Mario Bros. Movie is an animated movie that tells the action-packed story of how Nintendo’s most famous characters became what they are now. This movie kept me interested from the beginning right until the end of the credits. I think it moves along a little slow in the beginning, but once the plot picks up, it is nonstop action until the end.
The movie starts off with Mario and Luigi being plumbers, helping their city, until one of their jobs turns into a disaster overnight. Their city floods, and they are the only ones who know how to fix it. The problem? The workers sent by the city won’t allow their help. They end up sneaking underground. There, they start to fix it, but they find a mysterious green pipe that is seen in many different Nintendo games. They walk through it and find themselves in a fantasy world. They didn’t know it then, but they would be going through many different adventures there.
I would give this move a 7/10 because there are some parts where the movie moves slowly. I would recommend this movie to kids 5-6 and up.
